Bayelsa to honour Abacha, Alams


The Bayelsa state government has announced plans to immortalise former military dictator, Sani Abacha. The late General had created Bayelsa state in October 1996, and the state will build a 150-duplex estate in his honour.

Four people were killed in Maiduguri at a wedding ceremony over the weekend in Maiduguri by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram. Daily Sun gathered that the gunmen whose number could not be ascertained, stormed the residence where the wedding was taking place behind the Green House along West End last Saturday.
