The
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the son of
Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, Alhaji Aminu Sule at the Malam Aminu Kano
International Airport (MAKIA) over alleged money laundering.
The Governor's son had declared
$10,000 to be on his possession to the customs officials but when they checked
it was found that he had an additional $40,000 with him.
Officials of the EFCC confirmed his
arrest to THISDAY on Tuesday night saying that the governor's son was on his
way to Egypt.
