MONDAY NOT PUBLIC HOLIDAY, FG SAYS

Id-El-Kabir public holiday does not begin on Monday contrary to insinuations in some quarters of changes in the dates earlier declared by the Federal Government.
The Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro said the announcement became necessary following the strings of misinformation said to be publicized by some media houses in the country.
