SUSPECTED MOLES INVADE OSHIOMHOLE’S GOVT

There are strong indications that the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State may have been invaded by political moles whose stock in trade is spying for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
LEADERSHIP Friday investigations revealed that those engaged in the espionage are top members of the APC and close aides of the governor.
Corroborating LEADERSHIP Friday’s findings was the recent leaking to the PDP of a video of a secret meeting allegedly held in the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Special Duties, Mr Theophilus Afuab containing discussions on how the Esan North-east re-run election was manipulated in favour of the APC.

It would be recalled that the PDP in Edo state on Tuesday at a press briefing said it had uncovered a plot by the ruling APC to subvert justice in its planned suit against the result of the Esan North-east local government election.
Edo State PDP chairman, Chief Dan Osi Orbih alleged that top aides of Governor Oshiomhole, joined by 11 State Independent Electoral Commission’s (SIEC) ward returning officers, had on Wednesday, November 14, 2013, held a secret meeting at the Government House, to hatch plans on how to scuttle the PDP’s plan to challenge the outcome of the poll.
