2015 PRESIDENCY : APC KEEPS MUM ON OSHIOHMOLE CANDIDACY

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has kept silent on last weekend's endorsement of the Edo state Governor, Adams Oshiomhole for the Presidentisl ticket by his Lagos state counterpart, Mr. Raji Fashola.
However, the intra party feud the Ogun state chapter of the party has attracted the attention of its interim national leadership which has immediately stepped in to settle the rift.
THISDAY gathered that the open support by Fashola for Oshiomhole to contest the 2015 presidency is already causing ripples within the party hierarchy.
The influential Lagos Governor was quoted as having that he will support Governor Adams Oshiomhole if he decides to run as President of this country.
Fashola described Oshiomhole as the kind of leader that Nigeria needs.
Although the party has refused to officially comment on the matter, it was learnt that Fashola may have spoken the minds of other APC governors who have been tinkering on the issue.
