TAMBUWAL: WHY I WILL NOT LEAVE PDP

Despite the current minority status of the PDP at the House of Representatives and plans to effect a change in its leadership, the Speaker, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, Tuesday said that he has no plan to abandon his party just because it was in crisis
Rather than abandon the party midstream, he prefers to remain in the PDP to help fix its problems as that was the hallmark of a politician with principles.
Tambuwal spoke who to journalists at Akamkpa, Cross River State where he visited Tuesday stated categorically clear that he remains a staunch member of the ruling party and has no plans to defect from it either now or in the near future, adding that one of the qualities of a good politician was the ability to weather the storm.
