WOMAN DELIVERS CONJOINED TWINS IN ABIA

It was a bizarre sight at Ebem in Ohafia, Abia State, when a 40-year-old woman gave birth to strange conjoined twins at Mben Cottage Hospital, Asaga road, Ebem Ohafia.
The mother is said to be in a stable condition.
Speaking with reporters, the Medical Director, Dr Bernard Orji described the delivery as strange.
Dr Orji said the woman did not register with the hospital and that she underwent a two-hour caesarean operation.
The doctor said the woman might have had the conjoined twins because of her inability to attend prenatal clinic.
