He added that the remaining money was spent on the purchase of grains and clothing which has been distributed to individuals as well as civil servants of the state.
Stressing that his administration is doing all that is humanly possible to enhance the living standards of his people, Wamakko maintained that the welfare of the people of the state is his top most priority.
Wammako said, “The state government is doing everything to ensure that the welfare of the citizens is well catered for. Various agencies of government are given out Ramadan packages to ensure people fast with ease. Remadan feeding centres have been strengthened and adequately funded for the less privileged in the state to fast with ease”.
Appreciating Islamic preachers and royal fathers for their doggedness in ensuring a peaceful Ramadan preaching since the first day till date, Wamakko urged them to ensure that they use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for both peace and development in the country.
