EBONYI SPEAKER IMPEACHED

ABAKALIKI-Members of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Monday morning impeached the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukwuma Nwazunku.
18 out of the 24 members of the house allegedly carried out the impeachment of the speaker.
The members lifted the impeachment of the three members of the house on suspension before carrying out the impeachment.
The three members are Hon Frank Onwe, Hon Eni Uduma Chime and deputy speaker, Hon Blaise Orji.
Hon Frank Onwe moved the motion for his impeachment which was seconded by the minority leader, Hon Enyi C. Enyi.
Thereafter, Hon Eni Uduma Chima representing Afikpo South West moved the motion for election of Hon Helen Nwaobasi representing Abakaliki South state constituency.
The motion was seconded Hon Jerry Obasi.
