ODIGIE-OYEGUN ALLEGES PLOT TO DESTABLISE APC STATES AHEAD 2015

THE leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is accusing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of attempting to destabilise states controlled by the opposition party across the country in a desperate move to win back such states.
APC made the allegation when its National chairman, Chief John Oyegun, led a delegation which include Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, Senator Bukola Saraki, Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajamiala, former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Mallam Nasir El Rufai, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and the party’s national Secretary, Akabu Kali to Edo State. The party said it would ensure that such excesses stop.

The delegation was on a solidarity visit to Governor Adams Oshiomhole and APC members of the House of Assembly over the crisis that has engulfed the House for six weeks now.
Oyegun said with the unstable political situation in states like Rivers, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Kano and now Edo, it was clear that there is a plot to destabilize the APC.
“What is going on and what the party has come to realize is that there is a properly mapped out war against the APC. While you are going through your travails here, we are also trying to contain the fires that have been emitting in Adamawa, we are preparing for the one they are promising in Nasarawa State and so on and so forth and the bombs have started exploding in Kano,” Oyegun told Oshiomhole.
He assured the governor that the party is solidly behind him and the 15 APC lawmakers in the legislative arm of government in the state.
