NSA: WE CAN’T STOP INDOCTRINATION OF CHIBOK GIRLS

National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki says the Federal Government cannot stop Boko Haram insurgents from indoctrinating the abducted schoolgirls of Chibok, Borno State.
Dasuki said this yes
terday while fielding questions from State House journalists after the Council of State meeting presided over by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Responding to a question on the fears that the captors might have begun to turn the captives into suicide bombers, the NSA said the government did not have control over the girls while still in captivity.
Dasuki, however, said when the abducted girls are released, the government would put in place a re-orientation programme for them before they would reunite with their parents.
He said, “What really can anybody do? The Chibok girls who are in captivity are not under Federal Government’s control.

“That is all we can do before they go back to normal life. We can’t do anything to stop them from being indoctrinated.”
Speaking further, Dasuki said the meeting also discussed the recent attack on a former head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari.
He said contrary to the claims in some quarters, the Federal Government was not behind the attack on the convoy of the former military leader.
Dasuki noted that the leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, had since February threatened Buhari and some other politicians who, he said, the sect leader referred to as infidels that must be dealt with.
