WE’LL RECLAIM LOST PDP STATES —MU’AZU

The National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, on Friday, declared that the party was determined to reclaim the states lost to carpet-crossing and win all those states that have the potential for economic growth in the forthcoming coming elections.
The PDP chairman, in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja
by his Press Secretary, Chief Tony Amadi, stated that to show that PDP remains a party to beat in the coming elections, “Zamfara State gave President Jonathan a tumultuous reception and Kano State was unbelievable in the quality crowds that attended the presidential campaign rally.”
According to him, “PDP has shown that it is not only the party to beat in the forthcoming elections, but it is also the party that would transform the nation into a developed country.”
To this end, he noted that “the desperation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to win the 2015 elections has led to the stoppage of most ongoing projects, particularly the five states of Kano, Adamawa, Rivers, Kwara and Sokoto, whose governors defected from the Peoples Democratic Party.”
The statement reads in part, “the governors of the five states left the PDP for over a year and seven months using the PDP manifesto to try and prop up their new allegiance to the APC.
“Unfortunately for their new party and their desperation to become the ruling party, they have made little or no progress, thus leaving their states impoverished.”
