BUHARI’LL CHANGE NIGERIA, BUT… –ATIKU

Former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has assured that the in¬coming government of Gen Muham¬madu Buhari will change Nigeria positively, but warned that the transforma¬tion will not be immediate.
This is as he lambasted the President Goodluck Jonathan’s government over the persistent fuel scarcity and sacking of some government officials . He said the Pe
oples Democratic Party (PDP) government has shown that it is inept and corrupt.
The former Vice President who spoke yesterday in Abuja after a meeting with Gen. Buhari urged Nigerians not to expect miracles from the incoming government. He submitted that though he had no doubt in his mind that Buhari will transform the country, it will not be achieved overnight.Abubakar who contested against Buhari in the presidential primaries of the All Progressives a Congress (APC) said the country was facing huge challenges stressing that addressing the problems by the incoming government will not be a day’s job.
“I know expectations are high but we should not deceive ourselves, the change will not be immediate. He is not going to do any miracle”, the ex-vice president cautioned. “But I am certain we are going to witness positives changes,” he said.
Abubakar who refused to be drawn into the delay in the zoning of political offices by the APC berated the PDP government for doing little to address critical problems affecting the nation.
