SENATOR IKE EKWEREMADU IS DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT

Senator Ike Ekweremadu of the Peoples Democratic Party has emerged as the new Deputy Senate President of the 8th Senate.
He defeated Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume of the All Progressives Congress. 
He polled 54 votes as against Ndume’s 20 votes.
