At the age of 16, Lukman Mohammed (not real name) said that he was lured into be¬coming a member of Black Axe Confra¬ternity. An unholy union which turned him into a serial killer. He was said to have done exceptionally well and rose in ranks to become the Chief Protocol Officer of the dreaded cult group in Nigeria.
His exploits were more in the North especially Abuja where he confessed to have been a part of a killer gang that had assassinated a lot of persons at the instance of their sponsors who are mostly politicians. He also claimed to have participated in several big robberies across the country especially in Kaduna. It took divine intervention when he at¬tended a church programme at The Lord Chosen Charismatic Ministry recently to repent.

WE PLANNED IKORODU BANK ROBBERY IN 30 MINUTES— SUSPECT

LAGOS—As fresh facts begin to emerge about the Ikorodu banks robbery operation where N80 million was reportedly carted away a fortnight ago, one of the suspects has revealed that they planned the operation at a meeting that lasted 30 minutes.
It was also discovered that 12 members of the gang were recruited from the Niger Delta region.
This is
 just as the four suspects arrested in connection with the operation, which lasted close to two hours, have confessed that their gang was responsible for similar operations at Ijede road three weeks before that of Ipakodo also at Ikorodu, and that of Lekki, where five persons, including three policemen, were killed.
The arrested suspects include Omoboye, alias Alarm blow, 39; Bright, 25; Ikuesan, 37, and Abiwa, 20.

Akure—The two domestic staff of late former Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA, Professor Albert Ilemobade, said yesterday that they strangled him to death because they wanted to make good money by stealing and selling of his RAV 4 sport utility vehicle, SUV.
Parading
 the suspects, including the night guard, Daniel Ita, 24, and driver Olayemi Bamitale, 36, at Ondo State Police headquarters, ýpolice said they were on the trail of other accomplices.
The parade of the suspects came as the 73-year-old wife of the deceased made a wish to the state police Commissioner, Isaac Eke, to allow her have a five minutes chat with the killers of her husband.

WHY I SLEPT WITH MY GRANDDAUGHTERS – 75 YEAR OLD

A 75-year old grandfather, who allegedly slept with his granddaughter, has told the police that he was lured into the shameful act by his daughter.
The Septuagenarian, Mr. Umoru Choji, who lives in Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, was said to have had canal knowledge of two of his grand daughters before he was caught.

eaking with newsmen, Choji, who was paraded by the police, said, “It was these girls that put me into this trouble. They were the ones who always come to me and they arose my interest in sex. I didn’t even know when I started having sex with them.”
The shameless old man said the young girls reported him to the police after he stopped them from coming to his house.

SUSPECTED BARON HELD FOR PRODUCING DRUGS

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) yesterday said it had arrested a suspected drug baron who specialised in sponsoring drug couriers to China, Malaysia, Turkey, Italy and other foreign countries.
Addressing journalists at office of the agency at Ikoyi, Lagos, the NDLEA Chairman, Ahmadu Giade, said the 37-year-old suspect, Sylvester Chukwunwend
u, was also a producer of methamphetamine in Anambra State. Giade said that Chukwunwendu was arrested at Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State based on intelligence report received by the agency on April 23, 2014.
The suspect was said to be deeply involved in unlawful exportation of illicit drugs and running a methamphetamine production laboratory in his house at No. 2, St. James Close, Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos. Chukwunwendu, aka Blessed, was alleged to be the owner of the laboratory and leader of an international drug trafficking organisation which recruits and sponsors drug couriers to foreign countries. Giade said that sufficient evidence had been gathered to ease the prosecution of the suspect.

WOMAN LEADS ROBBERY ATTACKS ON LAGOS BANKS

AREa, Zico come and see money. See money wey we dey look for,” screamed one of the robbers.
In a jiffy, the robbers packed about N20m said to have been arranged for loading into the Automated Teller Machines at a Zenith Bank branch in Ebute-Ipakodo in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Wednesday morning.
A bank official, who narrated how the robbery took place, said th
e ecstasy displayed by the robbers was only comparable to “what you see when a footballer scores a decisive goal.”
As some of the gang members held everyone in bank hostage while looting additional cash from the strong room, others were doing the same at the First Bank branch in the area.
Satisfied with their bounty, the gunmen stormed out and challenged policemen, whose station is opposite the First Bank branch, to confront them.
Even though no policeman was in sight, they displayed more bravado by setting three Sports Utility Vehicles which they drove to the banks, on fire. Before this, they had removed the number plates of the vehicles.

I NEVER IMAGINED MY THREE FRIENDS COULD GANG RAPE ME

In an act, which has shocked residents of a neighbourhood in Iju area of Lagos, three friends – Habeeb Adisa (25), Kehinde Aderinoye (25) and Ilyas Ogundimu (27) – have raped one of their female neighbours, a young woman,who is their close friend in the neighbourhood.
The victim, 19-year-old Adenike (not real name), a hair stylist, volunteered t
o speak with Saturday PUNCH, saying she summoned the courage to speak about her ordeal because she did not want them to go free and do the same to someone else.
Narrating how she was violated by the three men whom she trusted most in their neighbourhood, Adenike told our correspondent that not once did she suspect within the two years she knew them that they had such a heinous plan for her.
Calmly, but with a lot of anger and pain showing in her eyes, Adenike said, “I became friends with them as neighbours two years ago when my mother first rented an apartment in the area.

END OF THE ROAD FOR LAGOS ‘ONE CHANCE’ ROBBERS

They leave many in tears and sorrow whenever they carry out their ‘one chance’ robbery technique posing as commercial bus operators.
As early as 5am when they hit the road, whoever falls to their tricks becomes a victim.
Unknown to the innocent passengers, the gang had gun and other dangerous weapons they use as tools to dispossess unsuspecting victim
s of their belongings.
The rest is now history as Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of Lagos State Police Command has arrested them.
The arrested suspects are Michael Shomuti, Bimbo Ibitoye, Idis Dabiri and Saheed Abdulkareem.
Investigations revealed that the gang operates in Ijede, Ikorodu, Ketu, Ojota, Oshodi, Oworonshoki, Bariga and Victoria Island.
However, luck ran out on them on the 28th of April, 2015 when they used a Mazda MPV Space Bus to pose as commercial bus operators.

The incident, which happened two weeks after he was employed by one Omowunmi Fadojutimi, would have reportedly snuffed life out of her, her husband and two domestic workers but for providence.

HOW WE SHARED N15M FROM LEKKI OPERATION, ROBBERY SUSPECTS

THE Lagos State Police command yesterday arrested four suspects out of the 11 who invaded the Lekki branch of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and carted away millions of Naira deposited by innocent Nigerians.
The robbers who raided the bank with sophisticated arms on March 12, 2015, killed about five persons, including three policemen and carted away N15 million from the bank’s branch located on Admiralty Way, Lekki.
The gun-wielding armed bandits had allegedly stormed the bank in two speedboats through the lagoon. Four of the suspects, Duke Odogbo (38 years old), Lawrence Kingsley (31), Ebi Tosan (20), and Ekelemo Kuete (30), who participated in the operation confessed at the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) of the State Command Headquarters, Ikeja.
In his confession, Duke Odogbo from Ijaw part of Ondo State, alleged that a friend named Vika invited him for the operation.

MY WIVES KNOW I’M A CRIMINAL’

A 27-year-old suspected kidnapper, Rasheed Adetunji, who was paraded alongside other suspects, has confessed that his two wives knew he was a criminal and not a kidnapper.
He also revealed that he used part of the ransom money collected from victims to get married to them.
According to the Osun State-born Adetunji, his love for women is responsible for his having two
 wives at his age and had hoped to marry more before he was arrested.
He told Vanguard that one of his wives had a premonition of his current travails and warned him to stay away from members of his gang.
He regretted that he would miss his wives and family who, he claimed, he was trying to make happy.

B-I-Z-A-R-R-E: HOW A CLERIC POISONED CLIENT, CHOPPED OFF HIS HANDS, HEAD, PRIVATE PARTS

Residents of Obele community in Oko-Agbola, Magbon area of Badagry, Lagos, were taken aback at the sight of policemen at the site of a swimming pool around the area on February 13, 2015. However, before their arrival, a crowd had gathered to watch the bloated headless body of a man in the river. At the approach of the policemen, the crowd disappeared into thin air for fear of possible arrest.
On closer observation , it was discovered that the headless man also had other parts of his body mutilated. For instance, his two breasts were slashed off, his two wrists chopped off and his chest region dissected, revealing a conspicuously deep hole. Not only that, his stomach was also discovered to have been sliced open with the intestines missing, as well as his manhood.

NIGERIAN WOMAN KILLS LOVER SHE MET ON BADOO. READ THE HORRIBLE STORY

This woman brought two men (one of them pictured right) to the home of her lover to kill him. They tied his legs, hands, taped his mouth and snuffed life out of him. Full story from Tribune below.. 

The life of a young man, Charles Bankole Orisanya from Akoko in Ondo State, who was working with Halliburton in Rivers State ended
 sadly and brutally on September 19, 2014 when his 26-year-old girlfriend, Loretta Odikagbo, snuffed life out of him. She was however apprehended almost three months after, precisely December 9, 2014 after a painstaking investigation by the Homicide Section of the Rivers State Police Command.
Senior police officers who investigated the case said that the method of killing was an uncommon one in Nigeria, as Miss Odikagbo, popularly called Loretta, and two accomplices allegedly tapered late Orisanya’s mouth, hands and legs before covering his head with a polythene bag. Loretta was said to have sat on the deceased’s head while one of the accomplices, Ime Francis Moses Jnr., held his neck until he became lifeless.

HOW I KILLED MY LADY FRIEND — 41-YEAR-OLD SPARE PARTS DEALER

In Sunday Vanguard of last week, we reported the case of 41-year-old Festus Aimufua who allegedly murdered his lady friend, Ms Rose Aifuwa, on Christmas Day. Aifuwa, a mother of four, was based in Austria but returned to Nigeria with her Austrian passport last December to celebrate the Yuletide with her family. According to the deceased family, Festus allegedly killed their daughter because the deceased was requesting for the money allegedly owed her by the suspect.
They alleged that on that Christmas Day, their daughter insisted that Festus should pay the money but the suspect ran away from the deceased residence, hitting her with his car. It was said that the suspect dragged the deceased under the car till he got to Upper Mission Extension junction where he dumped the mangled body. After the incident, the Austrian government contacted the Nigeria Police and demanded that the matter be properly investigated since the deceased was an Austrian citizen.

POLICE PARADE DISMISSED OFFICER FOR STEALING CAR WORTH N5M

The Police in Ogun State, on Wednesday, paraded a dismissed police officer, Funmilayo Balogun, for stealing a Honda Accord car valued at N5 million.
The suspect, who was dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force, in 2010, with a corporal rank, had since promoted herself to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police.
The 35-year-old woman, a mother of two and also eight months pregnant, committed the offence in October last year, when she approached a car dealer on the pretence that she wanted to buy the car.
Balogun, who said she wore a police uniform ,added that she drove two of the car dealers to the police headquarters at Eleweran, Abeokuta and asked for escort to Ibadan.
Balogun,who hails from Osun State,served last at the Ondo State Police Command, before she was dismissed for using fake results to join the force.

LAGOS, ANAMBRA AMONG TOP ROBBERY SPOTS IN NIGERIA – REPORT

Going by the number of armed robbery cases reported to the police in five years, Lagos, Anambra and Abia are the top three armed robbery flashpoints in Nigeria.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that a total of 12,026 armed robbery cases were reported to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) between 2007 and 2011.
The NBS 2012 Annu
al Abstract of Statistics released recently indicated that the report was sourced from the NPF.
An analysis of the report showed that a total of 2,506 armed robbery cases were reported to the police in 2007, with the number declining to 2,393 in 2008.
In 2009, 2,147 of such cases got to the police but the downward trend of armed robbery cases was reversed in 2010 as the cases reported to the police increased to 2,279.
The total annual armed robbery cases skyrocketed in 2011, totalling 2,701, more than the number recorded in 2007.

EFCC ARRAIGNS TWO FOR ATTEMPTING TO SWINDLE GENERAL OGBEHA

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC], on Tuesday arraigned the duo of Abiodun Akorede (aka Kwesi John Mensah) and Sherif Olaseni Ajaga (aka Rowland Komolafe) before Justice H.U. Baba of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, for criminal conspiracy and attempt to obtain money under false pretences.
A statement by the spokesperson of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision, Wilson Uwujaren, said the accused persons, who pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge were arrested by operatives following a petition by Tunde Ogbeha, a former senator, alleging attempt to swindle him in a non- existent transaction.

Mr. David Onu Itumah, 62, was the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) of the Ikere-Ekiti divi¬sional police station that was attacked by a gang of daredevil armed robbers who killed two police officers and three other civilians, including a 25-year-old female corps mem
ber, the late Miss Uguwoke Oyinyechi Edith that fateful day, November 25.
The Ebonyi State-born Itumah, who hailed from Abakaliki Local Government Area, was one of the unfortunate police officers killed by the rampaging robbers when they simultaneously attacked the po¬lice station and a new generation bank in Ikere Ekiti.
Eyewitnesses said the robbers went into Itumah’s office as if they had planned to make him their target. “He didn’t fall to the robbers’ bullets. They shot him but that didn’t work on him. He didn’t have his rifle when they stormed his office, he ran into a corner of his office and locked himself in so that he could have enough time to prepare for them, but the robbers were too many for him, over five of them must have broken into his office to grab him. They lifted his feet off the ground and shot him. That was when the bullet penetrated into his body and finished him”, an eyewitness said.

‘HOW KIDNAPPING MADE ME A MILLIONAIRE’

A 33-year-old man, Anthony Egidi, has said he joined kidnapping business in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, out of frustration and had made millions from kidnapping no fewer than seven persons in Lagos, Benin, and in Delta State.
According to the Police, other suspects include Steve, Tony, Nyerowo, Steve and late Apopfure, who died during a gun duel with police 
in Lagos.
It was gathered that the suspects operated with two AK-47 rifle and three local guns, which have been recovered from them.
Egidi was arrested on October 26 in Ekenwan, Benin, Edo State, by Lagos State Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, led by Abba Kyarri.

WHY I TOOK TO ARMED ROBBERY, BY MUSICIAN

A 25-year-old musician, John Sunday, yesterday told the police in Lagos that he took to armed robbery in order to raise money to launch his album.
He was paraded with Onyekachi Oshomi (24), by Commissioner of Police Kayode Aderanti.
“I am a musician from Ikofepepe in Akwa Ibom State. We were three in the gang, but one is on the run. I needed money to launch
 my album, Tureke Reggae; that is why I went into robbery. I was targeting N100,000,” Sunday confessed.
Aderanti said on November 21, at 10pm, he got a tip-off that some robbers were planning to unleash terror on Lagos. He said he directed the Officer-in-Charge, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Abba Kyari, a Superintendent of Police (SP), to go after them.
