My attention has been drawn to a report in a section of the media on Thursday quoting me as saying that President Muhammadu Buhari will release his ministerial list ‘in a few days’.
This is a distortion of what I told journalists Thursday at Oro, Kwara State, during the 9th Lai Mohammed Ramadan Lecture.
What I said was that the delay in the release of the ministerial list was caused by the unprecedented transition of power from the ruling party to the opposition and the fact that the handover note was not given to the Transition Committee set up by the incoming government until four days to the presidential inauguration.
I then thanked Nigerians for their patience and said the President will release the ministerial list ‘soon’.. There is clearly a difference between ‘in a few days’ and ‘soon’.
Apart from the headline, which has since been corrected by the paper that reported the story, nowhere in the body of the story in question was a direct quote attributed to me as saying the President will release the Ministerial list ‘in a few days’.

APC WRITES POLICE IG ON ASARI DOKUBO’S THREAT ON LAI MOHAMMED
The All Progressive Congress (APC) have written a letter to the Inspector -General of Police asking for questioning of Asari Dokubo on the threat he made against the the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammad.
The APC in the letter asked the Inspector -General of Police to invite Asari-Dokubo for questioning over the comments he made on an online newspaper.
The party said it finds Asri-Dokubo’s comments that he would not give a civilized response to Mr Mohammed by suing the APC Spokesperson for his remarks but that he (Asari Dokubo) warned that he will resort to “self-help by using his hands and any other means to deal with Mr Mohammed ”

PDP CALLS LAI MOHAMMED DELUSIONAL PERSONALITY THAT REQUIRES MEDICAL ATTENTION
“It is public knowledge that we made an innocent mistake but immediately withdrew it and tendered an unreserved apology…”
Our attention has been drawn to an inciting and misleading statement by Lai Mohammed wherein he again exhibited his penchant for insane blackmail by calling for the arrest of the PDP National Publicity Secretary. We are indeed shocked by this statement and wonder what sort of dirty individual that could be so unprofessional, unprincipled and unethical. Indeed, it appears that lying Lai Mohammed has gone delusional and requires urgent medical attention. Has he become a low life who can go to any extent to score a cheap a political point? It is public knowledge that we made an innocent mistake but immediately withdrew it and tendered an unreserved apology well before the official announcement of the new emir was made.

BLAME-SHIFTING CAN’T ERASE THE FACT THAT JONATHAN HAS FAILED NIGERIANS – LAI MOHAMMED
Following the recent deadly bomb blast at Nyanya motor park, Abuja, the Peoples Democratic Party blamed the opposition party, All Progressives Congress, for acts of terrorism in the country. In this interview with PUNCH the spokesperson for APC, Lai Mohammed, reacts to the allegations
Why is it that the All Progressives Congress is trying to get to power at all cost, even by using terrorism?
Is that your understanding of the issue? Will you please give me one example of the APC using terrorism to get to power?
That seems to be the consistent allegation by the PDP?

LAI MOHAMMED’S PUBLIC DISINFORMATION TACTICS BY REUBEN ABATI
In a previous press statement, we had pointed
out that a well organized campaign by the opposition designed to mislead the
public, discredit the person and office of President Goodluck Jonathan, and
cause disaffection within the polity appears to be well afoot. That there is an
emerging pattern of disinformation and politics by trickery, orchestrated by
Lai Mohammed and his ilk which is unsuitable to our democratic experience is
now no longer in doubt.
We have been proven right, once more, with the
deliberate disinformation engaged in today by the National Publicity Secretary
of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

CRISIS BREWS IN APC •LOGO/MERGER COMMITTEE MEETING DEADLOCKED
…It’s nothing serious -Lai Mohammed
The
meeting of the merger committees of the parties that announced the formation of
All Progressives Congress (APC) ended in a deadlock yesterday in Abuja.
Chieftains of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigeria Peoples Party
(ANPP) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), at the meeting called for
caution, as they noted that the symbol of All Progressives Grand Alliance
(APGA) should not be reflected in the logo of APC against the background of denials
from the national executive of the party that APGA was not a party to the
merger deal. Certain chieftains of APGA stormed out of the meeting as it could
not be resolved.
