NDLEA OFFICIALS STORM BURUJI KASHAMU’S RESIDENCE

There are reports that officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have surrounded the residence of Ogun State Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu.
The drug law enforcement agency is said to be set to extradite the Ogun State born politician to the United States of America to answer drug related accusations proffered against him, according to Channels TV.

KASHAMU REPLIES TINUBU: RISE ABOVE PETTINESS

While responding .to Tinubu through a Press statement, Buruji said:
My attention has been drawn to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reaction to the innocuous congratulatory messages that I sent to him and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the aftermath of the general election.
First, I must say that I doubt if the statement was approved by him. However, if it was, I must state that I am taken aback by the unwarranted attacks against me as if we were still campaigning. It is unbecoming of someone of his stature and calibre.

For me, it is high time politicians and leaders rose above petty issues and raise the bar in constitutional democracy. We should not just be democrats in words but also in deeds. We should play politics without bitterness.

I’M NOT YOUR ROLE MODEL, TINUBU REPLIES KASHAMU

NATIONAL leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, has denied being a role model to the senator-elect in Ogun State, Buruji Kashamu.
In a statement signed by Sunday Dare, his media adviser and made available to newsmen, it said for Kashamu “to liken himself to Bola Tinubu is for a small rut to call itself a mountain.
“For Kashamu to call Tinubu a role model is Kashamu’s admission that he does not know the meaning of the term. There are no grounds for comparison. There is only contrast. Tinubu has sacrificed years trying to bring democracy to Nigeria.”
The statement described the sudden turn in Kashamu’s singing praise of the former governor of Lagos State as cynical fawning that would not work.

OBASANJO, SECURITY AGENCIES PLOTTING TO EXTRADITE ME TO US, KASHAMU CRIES

ABUJA – Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Senator-elect for the Ogun East Senatorial District, Alhaji Buruji Kashamu, has accused former President Olusegun Obasanjo of instigating foreign security agencies to apprehend him in Nigeria and extradite him to the United States of America, USA, to answer to drug related charges.

Consequently, he has sent a Save-My-Soul, SMS, letter to the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, insisting that the subterranean plot to ‘capture’ him has thickened.

Kashamu begged the Commission not to stand by and watch his fundamental human rights trampled upon at the behest of former President Obasanjo.

It will be recalled that it was Kashamu that persuaded Justice Valentine Ashi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting at Apo to order security agencies in Nigeria to confiscate Obasanjo’s autobiography entitled “My Watch”.

APC REJECTS OGUN EAST SENATORIAL RESULTS
