How randy landlord was disgraced by tenant’s wife

If this 57-year-old landlord  had a premonition that dating the wife of his tenant would lead to  disgrace, perhaps he could have tamed his lustful passion. Whereas the woman tactically agreed  to dance to the landlord’s amorous tunes, he thought he was damn  lucky but reverse was the case. IDOWU ADELUSI reports.

Nemesis caught up with a randy landlord in Ibadan,Oyo State last Sunday when his supposed lover secretly arranged his arrest by the police while planning to have a nice time with the woman.

The Fifty-seven-year old trader (names witheld) who lives at Ibadan Airport area, Sunday Tribune gathered had for a long time been pestering the woman  (names withheld), wife of a retired police officer urging her to allow him have an affair with her.

There are two flats in the building. While the landlord and his family are using one, the second flat was rented out to the police officer. The police officer and his wife, Sunday Tribune gathered moved into the house 18 months ago.

To enable the landlord execute his plan of dating the police officer’s wife without either the police officer or his own wife (landlord’s wife) suspecting, he entered into a  relationship with the police officer to the extent that they became so close.

Often times, the police officer and the landlord would eat together and go out together to  joints to enjoy themselves.

Therefore, when the landlord was making advances to the police officer’s wife who is in her late 30s and who the landlord admired so much, the husband did not know.

Sunday Tribune gathered that the landlord promised the woman many things, if she could allow him to have sex with her but she refused.

When the woman could no longer tolerate advances from the landlord who she called her husband’s friend, she disclosed it to her husband who told her to play along with the landlord.

When the landlord proposed to the woman that they could meet at a hotel in Brewery area of Ibadan, last sunday at 2pm, the woman told her husband. The retired police officer arranged to stay at a place not too far from the hotel while his wife went into the hotel room to meet the landlord.

The landlord, Sunday Tribune gathered was so happy that  the woman honoured the appointment and came at the agreed time.

While the man offered to satisfy his lover with food and drinks before the actual ‘business’, the woman said she preferred the business of the day before eating or drinking anything.

Jokingly, the woman asked the man if he could satisfy her sexual urge at that moment. When the man answered in affirmative, the woman demanded to see the size of his manhood, telling him that she would prefer to begin by romancing the manhood., That prompted the man to undress almost immediatly.

While the woman pretended to be as well ready for business by removing her headtie, the man went into the toilet to ease himself.

The woman immediately packed the man’s clothes including the pant  in a nylon bag, went out of the room and locked him inside.

She took the clothes to her husband who was waiting for her and they both went to the Airport Police Station to report the matter and two policeman were sent to effect his arrest.

The man was detained in the polioce cell till the next day ( Monday September 10, 2012) in order to be charged to court.

However, the woman’s husband urged the police to drop the charges against the landlord because they are  friends and also because of the landlord’s wife who was on admission at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

In his confessional statement to the police, the lanlord admitted taking the woman to the hotel. He said it was devil who pushed him into it and begged the police officer to forgive him.

In her  statement, the woman said that the landlord had mounted much  pressure on her but rebuffed his advances. She said that when she became tired of him, she threatened to report him to her husband thinking that would make him to leave her but he didn’t. “That was why I had to inform my husband. I love my husband and he loves me. He has been taking care of me, why should I betray him?” the woman asked.

A senior police officer at the station who did not want his name in print confirmed the incident telling the reporter that the randy landlord would be released on bail on that Monday since the husband of the woman had said he was not interested in prosecuting the case.
