Britain’s Prince William and his
wife have launched legal action for breach of privacy against the publishers of
Closer Magazine in France.
The magazine had published topless pictures of Kate, the
couple’s staff in London said on Friday.
Lawyers for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would sue in the
French Courts, said the couple’s staff at St James’s Palace, where they live in
London.
William and Kate were on a visit to Malaysia when the images,
apparently taken while the couple were sunning themselves during a private
holiday at a French chateau.
The images were published in the gossip magazine.
