Mimiko an ingrate, doesn’t deserve second term, says Tinubu

The National Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has described Gov. Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state as an ingrate who does not deserve a second term because he has failed to perform creditably during his first term.
Asiwaju Tinubu spoke, yesterday, as the campaign train of the Ondo State ACN gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, rolled into Akokoland, North Senatorial District.
According to an ACN statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Asiwaju Tinubu enjoined the people to vote out Dr. Mimiko of the Labour Party on October 20, having failed to deliver on roads, education, health care, water and job creation.
“If you use three years to build one hospital, you will use 15 years to build three Which market is he building? That is the domain of my  mother in Lagos,” Asiwaju told the mammoth crowd who defied a downpour to attend the campaign rally, which was held in a carnival-like atmosphere at the Ikare Cenotapth.
“Today, you have seen our candidate. Somebody calls himself Rahman Olusegun Mimiko. The judgment of God has come. The next election will be an exercise of success and reward for you. It is a vote that will liberate Yorubaland. Iroko wants to be in the forest alone. Use your broom to chase them away.
Chase away hunger, poverty, unemployment, penury, disease, water shortage, lack of drugs,” said the former Lagos State Governor as he waved the broom, the symbol of ACN, at the crowd.
