Popular Fashion Designer, Remi Lagos Dies; Lost Battle To Cancer

The iconic fashion designer, Oluremi Osholake, better known as Remi Lagos, died this morning in London. The renowed dress-maker was battling cancer for a while and reportedly died after a surgery. The 51-year-old, who had dressed some of Lagos best known socialites, had actually begun chemotheraphy before she gave up the ghost. She is survived by a sister, Adetomi Osholake.

One of her friends, Funmi Iyanda, confirmed it on Twitter: “My dearest friend Ms Remi Osholake (Remi Lagos) passed on dis morning. She had cancer. She was a remarkable, creative force to the end.” Emerging facts have it that the Ms Osholake, has been suffering from complications of uterine cancer and was hospitalised two weeks ago, at the Harley Street Clinic in London.
