Janet Jackson Plans $20 Million Dollar Wedding With Arab Billionaire Wissam al Mana


Janet Jackson is planning a world class wedding with her Arab billionaire fiance, Wissam al Mana, insiders disclosed. The wedding expenses is expected to cost $20 million US dollars.
In a rare show of appreciation to all invited guests,the couple would be giving out $10,000 dollars as ‘Thank you for coming’ gift. Information so far gathered shows that the wedding would take place in Qatar, the home country of Mana. A yet to be announced date has been fixed for 2013.
46-year-old Janet sees nothing wrong in dating or marrying a younger person as long as they are happy together.

Nigerian couple who tried to claim £3.8million in an ‘eye-watering’ benefits scam using 1,400 stolen identities have been jailed for a total of almost 10 years.

Adeola Thomas, 38, assisted by his partner, Abimbola Abiola, 34, managed to pocket £87,000 after submitting almost 2,500 handwritten applications for tax credits and benefits.

Nigeria security officers held over suspected militant links


 (Reuters) - Nigeria's army said on Sunday it had arrested several security officials on suspicion of having connections with Islamist sect Boko Haram, which has killed hundreds in an insurgency this year.
The government has regularly said it believes politicians and security agents are involved in the revolt, which poses the biggest security threat in Africa's leading oil exporter.

2 die as bomb explosion, gun fire rock Zaria


An explosion and gunfire shook an area around an Islamic school in Zaria, Kaduna state Sunday, leaving two suspected attackers dead and others wounded, emergency officials said.
Details of the blast in the northern Nigerian city of Zaria were sketchy, with initial reports saying that the blast occurred inside the school but a government spokesman later saying that it went off near it.

U.S Government To Treat Gay Partners As Relatives At Immigrations


The Obama administration has directed immigration officials to recognize same-sex partners as family members in deportation cases, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said on Friday.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told Pelosi in a letter that she had ordered U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to notify its field offices "that the interpretation of the phrase 'family relationships' includes long-term, same-sex partners."

Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, the influential publisher who transformed The New York Times in his long tenure, has died at age 86, the newspaper reported Saturday.
Sulzberger died Saturday at his home in Southampton, New York, after a long illness, the paper said, citing his family.
