PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan will Thursday in Lagos
commission the Eko Atlantic City and meet with notable business leaders and
investors.
The Senior Special Adviser on Media to Lagos State governor,
Hakeem Bello, confirmed this to The Guardian Wednesday night, noting that the
President’s visit is in connection with the Atlantic City project.
The last parley the President had with business leaders in
the state was in 2011 at Eko Hotel, in the run-up to the last general elections
and it was a private discussion on how to drive his transformation agenda.
Details are, however, not clear on the venue of the meeting
as foremost industrialists called up were not aware of the meeting as at
Wednesday night.
