Passengers
were scared as a mentally – deranged man in tattered clothes and blood-soaked
shirt jumped into a Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) vehicle through the back door
yesterday at Stadium Bus Stop in Lagos State at about 12noon.
The mad man caused confusion in the bus as he was running
through the bus’ corridor.
After a few minutes, he occupied a vacant seat at the back of
the vehicle, jumping up and sitting back simultaneously.
Passengers, who managed to escape from the bus, called the
police while others were frightened as they began to scream and search for the
next available exit.
But before the arrival of the police, the driver had succeeded
in chasing the mad man out of the bus.
The mad man, however, begged for mercy as he ran out of the bus.
