After spending almost two
years in prison for attempted illegal gun possession and tax evasion, US rapper
Ja Rule has been released from prison. Ja Rule was released from Ray Brook
Federal Prison in New York today Tuesday May 6th but will remain on home
confinement until July 28th.
Ja Rule was sentenced to two years in prison for attempted criminal possession of a weapon and 28 months for tax evasion. He served both sentences concurrently.
