HOLD AMAECHI’S CHIEF OF STAFF RESPONSIBLE SHOULD ANY EVIL HAPPEN TO ME, NANS PRESIDENT CRIES OUT

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) wishes to inform the general public that Security operatives in Rivers State have just alerted its National President, Comrade Yinka Gbadebo in relation to the satanic and evil plans of the Rivers State government to unleash serious, devilish and perfidious attacks on him before he leave the state. The impending attack is being supervised by Mr. Tony Okocha, Chief of Staff to Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State. Yinka Gbadebo is presently in Portharcourt, Rivers State capital.
It should be recalled that the NANS President had kicked against the plan by the Rivers State Government to use some former NANS leaders and the impeached Deputy Senate President of the association, John Shima to stage an anti- Goodluck Jonathan’s mass protest in Portharcourt without justification. NANS kicked against the protest because it was not ideological. The foiled protest was planned to take place on October 1st. A whooping sum of N24million was paid to John Shima and other anti-peace and tranquility comrades to perfect the protest.
Consequent upon the foregoing, NANS wishes to inform the general public that the Rivers State Government should be held responsible should anything evil happen to its President before he leave the State. What Governor Amaechi wants from NANS despite condemning the show of shame that took place at the Rivers State House of Assembly sometime in July is what we are yet to unraveled.
Definitely, since we rest on the pillar of truth, justice and fairness; with the support of the gods of struggle (Aluta); we shall triumph!
