NON-RELEASE OF OKUSANYA’S REMAINS WORRIES FAMILY

The bereaved family of the October 3 Lagos plane crash victim, Olatunji Okusanya, can no longer hide their displeasure over the non-release of the remains of the MIC Undertaker Boss, his son and four of his staff who died along with him in the crash.
Describing the delay as a prolonged torture for the family, a member of the family who spoke on the condition of anonymity, expressed concern that the Lagos State Government is yet to publish the result of the DNA test carried out for the corpses, without which the bodies would not be released.
Speaking to Sunday Mirror in Lagos, the family member expressed anger, asking why it had taken the state government so long to make the DNA test’s result public. “You can ask the state government.

They have not released the bodies. DNA result does not take so long to come out…they have not released it. “Why not go to the state government and find out why. Do they want to eat it?,” he said. Sunder Mirror however found that the Odunlami Street corporate headquarters of MIC Undertakers has been opened for business But burial plans had been kept hanging until the remains of the demised MIC Boss, his son Tunji Jnr and four staff members of the organization were released.
Meanwhile, individuals, organizations, and sympathizers had different posters with pictures of the diseased and touching messages such, pasted around the vicinity.
