The party in a statement signed by its publicity secretary, Taofic Gani made available to journalists, vowed to take legal action against the several misappropriation of the state resources by the government.
The State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, had during the flag-off of the exercise, explained that the state government will use the it provide Demographic data for efficient planning and proper allocation of resources in the State.
But the Lagos PDP argued otherwise saying, “The lack of adequate social services for residents of the State should be blamed on Governor Fashola’s mismanagement of Lagos funds rather than the absence of a list of registered residents in the State”.
Lagos State PDP added that, “ Apart from the Governor seeking this alibi, we can also correlate the timing of the exercise with the boast of the Lagos APC Chairman to register 2.5million members in the State.
“This is laughable and we now confirm that the people behind APC are not awake to reality that they are no more fashionable in the State.
Because they cannot even get two hundred and fifty thousand true registered members, they have now approached the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency ( LASRAA) to generate two million, five hundred thousand names to be flaunted as registered members of Lagos APC.
PDP said ,” They are in fact touting that the registration would entitle one to certain government services. They are thus already laying the foundation to rig the 2015 Governorship election by falsification, inducement and coercion”.
