JUNAID TELLS JONATHAN TO DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM EDWIN CLARK

Second Republic lawmaker Junaid Mohammed, yesterday, dismissed the sacking of President Goodluck Jonathan’s Political adviser, Ahmed Gulak, as non-consequential as long as other loquacious elements in an outside the administration continues to speak for Jonathan.
Mohammed, who is a delegate at the ongoing National Conference, told our correspondent that Jonathan needed to do away with men and women, who exert negative influence on him while trying to pose as patriotic Nigerians.
Mohammed said the sacking of Gulak alone and leaving other elements who constitute a minus to his cabinet, would do more harm than good to the President.
The politician said that Gulak, who created more problems than solutions for Jonathan, should have been sent packing before now.
He said: The removal of Gulak is a good step taken at the wrong time: it has been overdue and has already created a lot of problems for the man, who appointed him because he specialised in personal attacks instead of offering solutions when occasion demands.
Mohammed particularly asked Jonathan to distance himself from Ijaw Leader, Chief Edwin Clark, whom he said, has continued to make despicable utterances that create more problems in the land rather offer the advice of a statesman that he claims to be.
