TUFACE LOSES FATHER

Michael Agbo Idibia, the father of Nigerian pop singer, Tuface Idibia, is dead.
Mr Idibia died in an unnamed hospital in Abuja after battling with cancer.
The deceased had been battling prostate cancer for over year. He was an alumnus of Kansas State University, USA; and retired from the Ministry of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State.
Confirming his death, the family, in a press statement issued Saturday night, said, “With sadness in our hearts, but with gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the passing on of our father, brother, uncle and in-law, Mr. Michael Agbo Idibia, a native of Okpokwu Edumoga in Benue State.

ICON MAG APOLOGIZES TO 2FACE OVER PREGNANCY STORY AFTER HE SUED FOR N100M

Weeks after 2face Idibia slammed a N100million lawsuit against soft-sell magazine, Icon Weekly, after they published a story claiming he had cheated on his wife and impregnated a banker. The magazine has apologized to the singer and have withdrawn their story, accepting that it was a false publication while hoping that 2Face will accept the apology. Read the letter after the cut..

KENNY OGUNGBE ON WHY HE DIDN'T ATTEND 2FACE IDIBIA'S DUBAI WEDDING


2face started his solo career with Kenny Ogungbe's music label, Kennis Music, back in 2004. They parted ways amicably a few years later...or so we thought! When asked by an Encomium reporter why he didn't attend 2face Idibia's Dubai wedding, Mr Ogungbe replied:

"I don't think it is something you should ask me. Go and ask 2face why Primetime and Kennis Music were not in attendance. I am too old to start joining issues with people

DAVID MARK DENIES BUYING TUFACE, ANNIE N47M FERARI CAR


The onslaught from the public came almost as soon as the news broke on social networks and blogs; a metalic orange Ferari sports car pictured at the venue of Tuface and Annie’s wedding in Dubai with words Wedding gift from Senator David Mark to Tuface, Anniescribbled on cardboard paper and stuck to the car, almost ruined the news of Tuface, Annie’s wedding.
Vanguard had not reported this as we awaited confirmation from the Senate president who has now through a statement issued by his Senior Special adviser on Media& Publicity Mr Kola Ologbondiyan denied buying this car gift for Tuface and Annie Idibia.

WHY I DONATED PRADO JEEP TO 2FACE - AKPABIO


THE Governor of Akwa Ibom, Sir Godswill Akpabio has defended his donations and hospitality to individuals, churches and organisations against the backdrop of criticism of such, disclosing that the donations had been captured in Akwa Ibom State’s budget so passed by House of Assembly.

Akpabio made this known during a chat with Government House correspondents in Uyo, as he condemned what he termed ‘’bad press’’ by a section of the media.

2FACE, WIFE GET AKPABIO’S N3M, PRADO JEEP WEDDING GIFTS


Hip hop star, 2 face Idibia,  and his wife, Annie Macauley-Idibia  on Thursday  received the Toyota Prado jeep and a cheque of N 3million wedding present promised them by the Akwa Ibom State governor, Akpabio.
 The gifts were presented to them in Lagos by State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr Aniekan Umanah.
The governor, who hosted a lavish traditional engagement ceremony for the celebrity couple in Eket, last week was reported to have declared a gift of a brand new Toyota Prado SUV for the couple and also vowed to sponsor 20 people to their forthcoming nuptial in Dubai.

AT LAST, TUFACE WEDS HEART-THROB ANNIE MACAULAY


Award winning musician, Innocent Idibia, a.k.a Tuface, was yesterday presented with two brand new Toyota Prado SUV by Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio as wedding gifts.
Idibia had his traditional marriage with his time fiancée, Annie Macaulay, at Apostolic High School, Esit Urua Community, along Eket-Ibeno Road.
The event, which was billed to start by 12noon, commenced around 4pm.
Governor Akpabio arrived the venue around 5:20pm with Senators Helen Esuene and Aloysius Etok.
Other senators that graced the occasion were Senators Florence Ita-Giwa and Anietie Okon. [PHOTOS INSIDE]
