FG KNOWS US – BOKO HARAM ‘COMMANDER’

A man who claimed to be the second in-command commander of Jama’atu Ahlis Sunnah Ladda’awatih wal-Jihad, also known as Boko Haram, Mohammed Marwana, has denied claims the federal government’s claim that there have been several meeting between the group and the government
Marwana, who spoke to the Hausa Service of the Voice of America (VOA) in a telephone interview, also listed towns where some sect members were allegedly ambushed and killed, under the guise of dialogue, by security operatives.
Marwana was responding to a report on a meeting that took place in Bauchi on the need to resolve the Boko Haram insurgency through dialogue.

“We have been approached for dialogue, not once, twice, but several times, and the government is only deceiving itself and not us,” he said.
“They kept on saying they don’t know us and they don’t know how to reach us, but it is a lie. we have talked to their agents face to face.
“And they confirmed that, but because of their deceit and penchant for worldly things, they are denying it. There is no way these antics will help them.
“You should know that we only attack their religious belief when they touched us. Before they touched us, who have we touched in this country?
“We have no problem with journalists, except if they deliberately skewed information related to us.”
